Terms of Service
Last updated: 2025-12-10
Welcome to Convert MP3. By accessing or using the service you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use.
1. Scope of the Service
This service provides a transient technical interface for extracting audio (MP3) from publicly available video resources requested directly by a user. We do not permanently store, index, or re‑publish third‑party audio.
2. Copyright Compliance & User Responsibility
- You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to process or download any content.
- Do not use the service to infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights. Only download materials you own or are licensed/permitted to use (including any applicable fair use exceptions where valid).
- We do not monitor or pre‑screen every submitted URL for legality.
- Any claims, liabilities or disputes arising from your usage are yours alone.
3. Prohibited Use
- Excessive automated scraping or load generation.
- Bypassing technical, security, token or rate limiting controls.
- Mass distribution, re‑hosting or commercial resale of converted files.
- Facilitating illegal content, child exploitation, hate, malware or other abusive material.
4. DMCA / Takedown Procedure
We respect intellectual property rights and honor valid DMCA (or equivalent) notices. If you are a copyright owner or authorized agent and believe material is being processed in violation of your rights, submit a notice containing:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- The exact URL(s) or unique video ID(s) in question.
- Your full legal name, role (owner / authorized agent) and valid contact information (email required).
- A good‑faith statement that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.
You may submit through our DMCA page. In response we may temporarily block the referenced URL/ID, add it to an internal blocklist, request clarification, or reject incomplete notices.
Note: We do not host the original third‑party content; we provide an ephemeral, user‑initiated conversion stream.
5. Safe Harbor Position
We seek to satisfy safe harbor principles by (a) acting expeditiously on valid notices; (b) not encouraging infringement; and (c) maintaining internal mechanisms (blocklists & logging) to prevent repeat abuse.
6. No Affiliation
Convert MP3 is not affiliated with YouTube, Google or any content owner. All trademarks, service marks and copyrights belong to their respective owners.
7. Disclaimer
The service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, uninterrupted availability or error‑free operation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill arising from use of (or inability to use) the service.
9. Changes
We may modify these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the new version.
